Cremation
Cremation services have become more popular in recent years as many people eschew traditional burial. Cremation has several benefits, it enables the family to keep their loved one’s ashes, it is more cost effective than traditional burial and it is considered more environmentally friendly. We are able to offer traditional cremation and water cremation services.
Burial
Traditional burial services evoke a sense of tradition, often honouring familiar funeral rites and rituals. Non-traditional burial services, such as Natural Burial allow us to return the body to the earth without barriers. Sea Burials offer those of us with a lifelong connection to the sea to continue our love affair with the ocean into the afterlife.
End-of-Life Celebration
Funeral services are not for everyone. For some, a celebration of life is much more their style. An end-of-life celebration can be whatever you would like it to be, a party at your favourite venue or a picnic at the park. It may seem unconventional to some but for many, leaving life as you lived it is the most fitting way to say farewell.
Home Services
Many cultures complete funeral rites and rituals at home, think of the Irish Wake or the Māori tangihanga. The family help to wash, dress and prepare their loved one. The loss of a child is one of the most painful things that a parent can endure. Our team are here to provide compassion and support whilst guiding you through this most difficult of times. We will create a unique and heartfelt service to honour your child and help you to remember the special bond that you shared, however brief.
DIY Funeral Services
We understand that not everyone wants a planned funeral. There are families who would like to arrange the funeral themselves. The good news is, that you can have a DIY funeral and often they provide a cathartic and meaningful experience. We can advise you of your options with our free 30-minute consultation.
Live Streaming of your service
For family and friends who are unable to attend in person, we offer virtual attendance via high-quality live streaming and webcasting. We can also provide you with a USB of the service to share with family and friends.
